निलेश रमेश होनाळे हे आपल्या ‘पणती’ ह्या कवितासंग्रहासह मराठी काव्यप्रांतात पदार्पण करीत आहेत. ही ‘पणती’ जशी सुविचारांची आहे, तशीच ती सदाचाराची आहे. पाण्यासम नित्य वाहणे हा ह्या कवितेचा प्रकृतिधर्म आहे.

कवीला ध्येयाचा ध्यास लागलेला आहे आणि जीवनाचे सार्थक करण्याचा मंत्र गवसला आहे. आपल्या जीवनाचा घोडा बेफाम उधळावा, असे कवीला वाटते.’काखेत सूर्य नित्य। घेऊन राहतो मी’ हा कवीचा करार आहे. वादळ बनून प्रतिकूलतेशी झुंजण्याचा कवीचा निर्धार आहे. प्रसंगी प्रवाहाच्या विरुद्ध वाहण्याची कवीची मानसिक तयारी आहे.
‘सान माणसे सान मनाची
चालवती ही रीत शतकांची’
ही स्थिती कवीला अस्वस्थ करते. म्हणून कवीने त्यावर आपल्या लेखणीचे शस्त्र परजले आहे. न्यायदेवता आंधळी आहे, हे सांगताना कवी जरासुद्धा कचरत नाही. जगद्गुरू तुकोबारायांनी सांगितलेले मनाच्या प्रसन्नतेचे माहात्म्य कवीला आकळलेले आहे,
कवीला शब्दांशी क्रीडा करण्याचा छंद जडलेला आहे,म्हणून तो काव्यानंदात आत्मानंद अनुभवतो आहे, जीवन सुंदरच आहे, ते आणखी सुंदर बनवा, असे तो तळमळीने सांगतो आहे.
